Private workshops
for Groups
Bring this work to your community — whether you’re a professional cohort, intentional community, book club, friend circle or polycule, ready for deeper conversations and stronger relational skills.
Experiential Workshops for Groups Ready to Relate With Care and Clarity
I’ve taught over a thousand workshops around the world, blending experiential, body-based learning with playful exploration and practical relational skills.
Now you can bring this work to your group.
Private workshops are designed for existing groups who want to explore communication, consent, boundaries, and intimacy together in a structured, supportive environment.
Sessions are interactive and thoughtfully facilitated, giving participants the chance to practice new skills in real time, not just talk about them.
Each workshop is customized to fit the experience level, goals, and culture of your group.
Popular Workshop Topics:
Workshops topics can be fully customized around specific questions or goals your group wants to explore. In your Inquiry Call, share what you’re looking for, and Marcia will work with you to find the right workshop structure.
Most Popular
Wheel of Consent®
A hands-on introduction to the Wheel of Consent® framework. Participants explore the dynamics of giving, receiving, taking and allowing—gaining powerful insights into boundaries, generosity and the flow of desire in everyday relationships.
Embodied Boundary Skills
Boundaries can be hard to understand and feel in the moment. This experiential workshop helps participants recognize their limits in real time and practice expressing them clearly without shutdown, escalation or people-pleasing.
Write Your Erotic Handbook
Most people inherit their understanding of sex from culture, media, and guesswork. In this workshop, participants begin creating their own “erotic handbook” — clarifying desires, boundaries, preferences, and turn-ons so they can communicate about intimacy with greater honesty and confidence.
Asking For It
Talking about sex can feel awkward, indirect, or loaded with expectation. This workshop introduces practical tools for expressing desires, making requests, and negotiating intimacy in ways that feel clear, respectful, and mutually empowering.
Negotiating open or Kink Relationships
For groups exploring polyamory, ethical non-monogamy, kink-aware relationships, or other non-traditional relational structures together or in community. Focuses on communication, consent, and emotional skills that support relational freedom and common pitfalls to avoid.
Who These Workshops Are For
Private workshops work best for existing groups where participants already share some level of trust or connection.
Common groups include:
Professional cohorts and leadership groups
Personal growth communities
Retreat groups and learning collectives
Book clubs and friend circles
Intentional communities or co-housing groups
Polycules and relationship networks
Groups typically include 6–22 participants.
What These Workshops Are Like
Private workshops combine practical learning with experiential exploration.
Participants can expect:
Guided exercises
Facilitated discussion
Ebodied learning practices
Opportunities for reflection and integration
All experiences are queer-inclusive, trauma-informed, and facilitated with care and clear boundaries.
Participants are always invited to engage at their own pace.
Sound good?
Every Group arrives with different questions and challenges, so no two workshops look exactly the same.
While every workshop is different, participants often leave with:
Greater clarity about boundaries and consent
Practical language for communicating desires and limits
Increased confidence navigating difficult conversations
Deeper understanding of relational dynamics
Tools for creating more conscious relationships
Many groups describe the experience as both eye-opening and surprisingly fun — a chance to explore meaningful topics in a supportive and engaging environment.
How to host a Private Workshop
~
How to host a Private Workshop ~
Hosting a private workshop is simple, and it’s designed to make your group’s experience smooth, meaningful, and engaging.
Step 1: Gather your group
Bring together 6–22 participants who are curious and open to exploring relational skills, communication, boundaries, or intimacy.
Step 2: Choose a topic or focus
Select from our suggested workshops — like Embodied Boundary Skills, The Wheel of Consent®, or Write Your Erotic Handbook — or create a custom focus that fits your group’s needs.
Step 3: Secure a comfortable space
Any space that allows for movement, discussion, and small-group exercises works: a living room, community studio, retreat center or coworking space.
Step 4: Reach out to schedule
Fill out the inquiry form with your group size, desired topics, and dates. Marcia will connect with you for a short planning conversation to design a workshop that fits your group’s goals, pace and dynamics.
Step 5: Relax and enjoy
All materials, exercises, and facilitation are provided. Your role is simply to host the space, welcome participants, and let the workshop unfold.
Hosting a workshop is an opportunity to bring learning, connection and playful exploration directly to your community — without needing to plan every detail yourself.

Let’s Bring This Work to Your Community!
If your group is interested in hosting a private workshop, the next step is to schedule a short planning conversation along with with a few details about your group and what you’d like to explore.
From there, we’ll meet to design a workshop that supports meaningful learning, connection, and growth.
You’ve got questions.
I’ve got answers:
-
I will do workshops with your group either in-person, or online on Zoom.
Typically you or your group will choose the venue. Any space that allows for movement, discussion and small-group exercises works: a living room, community studio, retreat center or coworking space are all ideal.
-
I will travel to your group, anywhere in the SF Bay Area.
Outside the Bay Area, travel is subject to availability, and additional fees may apply. If I am already traveling to your area to do an event, coupling up your group’s workshop can save on costs.
Please check my events calendar to see where I’ll be traveling in the near future, or schedule an Inquiry Call to see if travel is possible to your area.
-
Let’s chat! I can present on a wide range of topics and l have material on a number of subjects not listed here.
We can design a workshop around your group’s specific questions, challenges, or themes. Schedule an Inquiry Call to discuss what you’re looking for.
-
Nope! Workshops are designed to be accessible and safe for all experience levels. Participants are invited to engage at their own pace, with guidance, clear boundaries and optional participation.
When you schedule your Inquiry Call, be sure to tell me about your group, and we’ll collaborate to create a tailored experience that fulfills each person’s learning needs. -
While workshops tend to work better with at least 6 people so we can mix and match on the practices and exercises, I can customize a group workshop for as few as 4 people.
If you are a couple or triad looking for a private workshop, please inquire via the couples workshop page.
-
Definitely. I have taught to rooms of over 200 people before, and can customize an experience to your group’s needs.
Just share what you are looking when you book your Inquiry Call and we’ll work together to create the right thing.
-
I sure do! I’ve presented at over 100 conferences and events, and on dozens of telesummits and online events. I also enjoy speaking to students and professional groups on a wide variety of topics.
Pricing varies for these kinds of talks and presentations and I’m very willing to work with your organization to make it happen. If you are interested in bringing me in for something like this, just indicate that when you schedule an Inquiry Call.
