Couples workshops can be customized around these topics:
Embodied Boundaries
Feel your limits in real time and learn to communicate them clearly and confidently. Practice noticing your needs and expressing them without withdrawal, escalation, or compromise, creating a safer, more connected partnership.
Wheel of Consent®
Explore giving, receiving, taking and allowing together. This advanced practice builds clarity, agency and intimacy, helping you move beyond assumptions and experience connection in a playful, empowered and conscious way.
Erotic Clarity
Rediscover what you truly desire beneath habit, politeness, or routine. Learn to speak your wants directly, hear your partner without defensiveness, and create a more vibrant, alive sexual and relational connection.
Commitment Alignment
Prepare for marriage or long-term partnership with intentional conversation, boundary exploration and relational design. Build shared understanding and agreements that support clarity, devotion, and mutual respect from the start.
Opening up + Agreements
For couples exploring polyamory, ethical non-monogamy, kink or new relationship structures. Learn to navigate changes and expansions with emotional maturity, clear communication and mutual understanding.
Is This the Right Fit for Your Relationship?
These private intensives are designed for couples or triads who care about how they relate and want practical support building stronger relational skills.
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from this work (In fact, it’s better if you’re not!) Many couples come simply because they want more clarity, more intimacy, or better skills for navigating difficult conversations.
A workshop might be a good fit if:
You love each other but sometimes get stuck in the same patterns
You want to talk about sex, desire, or boundaries more openly
You’re preparing for a deeper commitment and want to start strong
You’re exploring non-monogamy or renegotiating relationship agreements
You want more aliveness, curiosity, and connection in your partnership
You care about growing and learning together
Every couple arrives with different questions and challenges, so no two intensives look exactly the same.
Many couples leave with similar shifts:
Greater clarity about desires, boundaries, and relational agreements
Tools for having difficult conversations without escalation or shutdown
A renewed sense of curiosity and aliveness in intimate connection
More confidence navigating differences in desire, pace, or needs
A deeper understanding of how consent, choice, and generosity operate in the relationship
Practical practices they can continue using long after the intensive ends
Many couples describe the experience as a reset — not because everything suddenly becomes easy, but because they leave with clearer language, stronger skills, and a deeper sense of partnership.
How it works
~
How it works ~
Working together is simple, collaborative and paced to you. Here’s what the process looks like from first contact to the end of your workshop:
Step 1: Reach out
Start by filling out a short inquiry form. You can share as much or as little as you like about what you’re hoping for—I’ll take it from there.
2: We connect
We’ll have a brief conversation to get a feel for what you want to explore, answer any questions, and make sure this feels like a good fit.
Step 3: Schedule your workshop
We’ll choose a time that works for both of you and confirm the details so you know exactly what to expect.
Step 4: I design your workshop
Using what you’ve shared, I’ll create a session tailored to your relationship—your goals, your pace, and what feels most supportive right now.
Step 5: Your workshop + Integration
I’ll guide you through a mix of conversation and experiential exercises, with space to practice and adjust as you go. We’ll close with reflection and simple next steps so you can carry what you’ve learned forward.
This is a space designed to support you as a couple—building on what’s already working, and gently expanding what’s possible between you. You don’t have to have it all figured out. Just come as you are, and we’ll take it from there, together.

If you are interested in booking Marcia for a private workshop, or want to know more about it, the next step is to schedule a short inquiry call, along with answering a few questions about what you’d like to explore together.
From there, we’ll meet to design and schedule a customized workshop that supports meaningful learning, connection, and growth for you both.
Common questions and concerns
-
That’s completely normal—most couples I work with are new to this kind of space.
We’ll start with a review of your intentions for our time together. Then, you can expect a mix of guided conversation and simple, structured exercises designed to help you connect, communicate, and explore together.
I’ll be there to facilitate, offer support, and adjust things to fit your pace. There’s no pressure to share anything you don’t want to, and no expectation to already be “good” at this. It’s a space to try things, notice what works, and build skills you can take with you into your everyday relationship.
-
Private workshop pricing includes meeting in-person at a private venue or in your home, in the SF East Bay area.
If you are unable to travel to the East Bay, you may arrange for an online workshop via Zoom at no additional cost, or for Marcia to travel to your home or vacation (subject to availability and additional costs may apply.)
-
Nope! This is stand-alone, experiential, relational, and practice-based experience. You’ll leave with practical tools and games you can play at home. Many couples find it complements therapy well.
-
That’s totally understandable. Many people find talking about sex awkward or challenging. In your intensive, you’ll find a safe, warm, judgement-free container to ask questions, bring up concerns and get input from a trained sex educator (that’s Marcia!)
Conversations around intimacy are approached with care and clear boundaries. Nothing is ever required — couples move at a comfortable pace.
-
Absolutely. In fact, that’s ideal. Many couples come to strengthen connection, deepen intimacy, or build better communication tools. Some come simply for the joy of having a dedicated, spacious container where they can learn together.
This work is ideal for couples who want to build better tools before challenges escalate, as well as couples who are rebuilding after repair.
-
One partner often initiates first. What matters is both of you are willing to show up with curiosity and listen. Our work together moves at a pace that respects both partners. To see if it’s a good fit, schedule an Inquiry Call.
-
Differences are normal and to be expected. It’s a myth that couples have to be on exactly the same page to have meaningful intimacy and connection. In our time together, you’ll learn tools communicate honestly while maintaining respect and connection.
-
Yes. Marcia has worked extensively with non-monogamous people and can customize an experience for the three of you. Please book a consultation call to discuss your needs and pricing.
If you are a polycule of 4 or more, please see private workshops for groups.

Sure thing! Schedule an inquiry call and let’s figure it out together. Book a time with Marcia here.
What students are saying…
"I count Marcia among my blessings.
Her excellent guidance, humor and insight have been crucial in my successful non-monogamous relationship. She came into my life at a time when things seemed unsteady and scary, and has helped me achieve a wonderful level of honesty and understanding, and a lifelong commitment, with the man who is now my husband.
She was so instrumental in our journey that we asked her to be the officiant at our ceremony! Thank you, Marcia."
— Georgina Walsh, San Francisco, CA“I can't believe how much I learned during this weekend,
you'd think I was just starting out. It was a marathon of imparting fascinating information, assignments, role playing, and overall expansion in my capacity and imagination for hot play. Her laser-like focused attention on us as her students as well as the precision of the vast body of material imparted was exquisite.
I feel substantially up-leveled in my repertoire and ready to play play play!
Now I can't wait and am so much looking forward to taking what I've learned and bringing it into my life adventures. Thank you, Marcia, you placed a bomb inside of me that's just waiting to ignite and explode!”
— Anonymous in Brooklyn, NY“Thank you for giving us the words and communication techniques to be able to deepen our connection, even after 8 years together.
We really found so many nuggets of wisdom packed in that it's going to take us some time to digest it all and unpack it and implement it - but we're both eager and excited to begin deploying our new skillset!”
— Kit C, New York, NY
